Post fertilization events:- Are the events that occurs after fusion of haploid male sperm and female ova. Due to fertilization diploid zygote form’s. Formation of zygote is first step in post fertilization events. Zygote is the first and primary diploid cell formed in human being’s. :

Cleavage:- 30 to 36 hour’s after fertilization, zygote moves through isthmus to uterus, dividing mitosisly, this process is called cleavage. During cleavage process we come across Morula, Blastocyst. :

Morula is the stage containing 16 to 32 cell's. We can see outer layer as zona pellucid, which as tight junction b/w the cell’s. And inner cell mass had gap junction. Morula get name so because it is in mulberry fruit shape. :

Blastula is the stage containing 64 cell’s. We can see fluid filled hallow cavity called blastocoel. Outer layer is called as trophoblast. In side is inner mass.:

Implantation:- 10 day’s after fertilization, blastocyst will attaches to wall of uterus, by inner cell mass is called as implantation. Trophoblast of blastocyst produce some enzyme to laisses the endometrium of uterus. Approximately 75% of all failure pregnancies is due to improper implantation. :

Parturition:-:

Parturition:- The process of giving birth to the baby by the end of gestation period is called as parturition. During parturition complex neuroendocrine mechanism play’s main role. The first signals for parturition originate from fully developed fetus and placenta called fetal ejection reflex . This reflex triggers the maternal pituitary to relies oxytocin hormone, which help’s in contraction of mussel’s in myometrium. The level of secretion of oxytocin by maternal pituitary will rich pick to produce strong contraction in uterus.

There is two stage’s during parturition. 1.Dilation stage. 2.Expultion stage.:

There is two stage’s during parturition . 1.Dilation stage. 2.Expultion stage. 1. Dilation stage:- Uterine contraction starts from top and occur at long intervals. Once for every 30 min. By this force head of baby pushes against cervix and vagina result's in dilution. Dilution of cervix increases, stimulus oxytocin secretion. Farther contraction of uterine frequency increases. 1 – 3 for every minute. Due to this rapid contraction amnion ruptures and amniotic fluid flow’s out through vigina.

2. Expulsion stage:- With farther increase in the intensity of uterine and abdominal contraction, baby come’s out through cervix and vagina. Parturition process takes approximately 20 – 60 min.
