Robots are used in factories, manufacturing, home security, the military, and many other fields of human endeavor .Slide 3: they differ from other assembly-line machines because they can be reprogrammed to do more than one task.Slide 4: Robots are often used to handle dangerous , repetative tasks .there are three type of robots. Perception systems. Industrial robots. Mobile robots.Perception systems: Perception systems Perception systems: perception system robots imitate some of the human senses. For ex. robots with television-camera vision systems are particularly useful. They can guide machine tools, inspected products, and secure homes.Industrial robots : Industrial robots Industrial robots are used to perform a variety of tasks. Example are machines used in automobile plants to do welding, polishing, and painting.Slide 8: Some types of robots have claws for picking up objects and handling dangerous materials.Mobile robots: Mobile robots Mobile robots act as transports and are widely used for a variety of different tasks . Ex. The police and military use them to locate and disarm explosive devices mobile.Slide 10: Mobile robots have entered the world of Enter-tainment with their own television program called ”BATTLEBOTS”.
