. Lanthanum strontium manganite (LSM or LSMO) is an oxide ceramic material with the general formula La 1-x Sr x MnO 3 , where x describes the doping level and is usually in the range of 10-20%. [1] It has a perovskite -based crystal structure, which has the general form ABO 3 . Cost reduction :

Cost reduction The current cost of 100 kW Bloom Box is $700,000–800,000.But In the mass production of home-sized units, Sridhar hopes cost of each home sized Bloom box to under $3000. The capital costs according to NewsWeek magazine is $7–8 per watt.

Customers:

Customers According to Sridhar that first 100 kW Bloom Energy box were planted to Google head office in July 2008. Other customers with operating Bloom Boxes are Wal-Mart (WMT), FedEx (FDX), and Staples (SPLS). These companies quietly purchased Bloom Boxes and have been using them to produce part of their electricity for about 18 months.
