The VERB IT SAYS WHAT A PERSON IS,HAS,OR DOES EVERY SENTENCE MUST HAVE A VERB. EXAMPLES : 1.The watch is beautiful. 2. He has a lot of money. 3.He has bought a new car. 4.The old man came home last night. 5.We swam in the pond yesterday. A VERB IS A SAYING WORD

Note these points 1.There is only one verb in these sentences: I am happy. He has a pen. Ashok reads well. THESE ARE MAIN VERBS. 2.There are two or more verbs in these sentences: I am writing. I have been writing to him daily. THESE ARE HELPING AND MAIN VERBS.
