Most people who believe in Buddhism come from Thailand but actually originated in India which had said that Buddha was born 546 BC, very long ago! One of the most popular religions in the world One of the oldest religions in the world Buddhist believe in karma which is meant what ever good or bad things are done to other people, the same will go back to you.

Monks have to shave heir hair bold before becoming one. They have to wear orange robes every where they go. They are not paid but they are provided food, water and shelter by the temple. If you are a monk you can’t get married and only are allowed 2 feet close to a female. Monks meditate about 9 hours a day . Temples don’t usually have bath tubs or showers so they soak cloth into hot water and lather themselves. Only males are to be called monks, females are nuns which they have to shave their head bold too! If you walk on the market streets in the morning, you will see local food stalls give free food to the monks.
