About Us Incorporated in March of 1980 J And N Enterprises was the culmination of opportunity and the personal drive of John and Nancy Kleppe. It was always their dream to run their own business. As John developed his career in the corrosion control area of the natural gas utility industry he was presented the opportunity to market, sell and service the Gas-Trac Instrument. The Gas-Trac was developed through the collaboration of a major gas utility company serving northern Illinois and Illinois Institute of Technology. Seizing the opportunity, John and Nancy (J And N) put all their effort and resources into bringing a new technology that would revolutionize how gas leaks were located to the gas utility market. This passion has continued through the leadership of the next generation as their son Scott has been very active in the business for over 20 years.
