The purpose of this file is to teach your baby to read and teach your baby to learn encyclopeDay knowledge. It is designed base on "How To Teach Your Baby to Read" and “How to Teach your Baby EncyclopeDay knowledge” books by Dr Glenn Doman. How to use this file : 

How to use this file You can play slides show, print word cards or picture cards, store program of intelligence of pictures by using this file. The table in the first page shows 30 lessons for words+pictures, 30 lessons for pictures and 15 lessons for words. You can click the link of appropriate lesson and enjoy them with your baby/child. Each lesson last for less than 30 seconds. There are 3 kinds of lesson that you can play with: Words+Pictures: shows 10 words+pictures, word first and then the picture Words: shows 10 words Each lesson shows word/pictures in different sequences so as not to bore the baby. You don’t need to play all 3 kinds of lesson, just show your baby what you want him/her to learn. It is recommended by the "How To Teach Your Baby to Read" book by Dr Glenn Doman that words should be showed 3 times a day for 5 days, pictures should be showed 3 times a day for 10 days, and no more. It is because the child would have learnt them and would get bored if you continue to show the material. Also, there should be at least 30 minutes break between each lesson. Apart from playing slide show, you can printing cards with picture at one side and name/subject of the picture on the other side. Or you can print out the pictures and the program of intelligence at the footnotes (see page 45 )

Please follow the steps below: Replace the “title” at the top of page 1 Replace the “word1” to “word10” by your own set of words Add image to each slide after the word page Add sound to each word/picture if you wish (p.43) Add program of intelligence to each picture if you wish (p.44) Save file to pps format. Click here to listen with your default audio player” to save the sound file in the new window In the powerpoint environment, use “Insert” “Slide or Sound” “Insert Sound From File” to insert the wav file you have downloaded to slide of word or the slide of picture or both Apart from the above dictionary, you can create wav file by recording your own sound

Adding program of Intelligence If you wish to add program of intelligence (i.e. 10 facts related to the picture) to teach your child encyclopeDay knowledge, you can add them to the footnote field under each picture. They can be printed out separately (see page 45)

Printing Option : 

Printing Option Printing picture cards: Printing words at the back of the picture cards: Printing cards with picture and 10 programs of intelligence: By selecting footnotes instead of slides as print item, you can print out 10 pages, each page has a picture and footnotes. All the The pictures will show at top of the page, follows by programs of intelligence.

Random Slide Show Feature : 

Random Slide Show Feature This template has pre-defined 15 types of random slide show. They can be seen at [Slide Show] [Custom Shows] These pre-defined random slide shows work for 10 slides only. If you wish to show more than 10 slides, you should update these pre-defined custom shows to including the additional piece of slides, otherwise they will not be shown. The default setting of play speed is 00:00.8 per page. They can be changed at [Slide Show] menu. The recommended play speed is 1 second or below per page so as not to bore the baby. Baby brain can capture the screen in less than 1/100 second. Please following the steps at page 40 in creating your own version. Deletion or insertion of slides is not recommended as they will damage the random slide show feature.
