Background This experiment was based off the Loftus and Palmer study done in 1974. We added a twist to this study by adding the aspect of color psychology and testing how it affects the memory. After that we tested how switching the word a and the would affect the recollection of the subject’s memory.

Method Design :
Method Design This experiment was a laboratory experiment with an experimental design. The data was gathered through the self-report method by a questionnaire. The data collected was quantitative.
Subjects :
Subjects The subjects were 20 high school students; male and female age 15-18.
Procedure :
Procedure Subjects watched two videos. The first video was just a video with red then blue backgrounds. After the first video subjects were asked to answer the questions about video 1. After that, the subjects watched video two and answered questions about video two.

Discussion The experiment was ethical because there was signed consent, no one was harmed, and the subjects were debriefed.
It was also high in reliability because it is highly possible that the same answers will be given if the experiment was reconstructed.
However low in validity and ecological validity because the experiment was a laboratory experiment and only one age group was tested.
