Premium member Presentation Transcript VIRTUAL ORGANISATION : VIRTUAL ORGANISATION G.PRAKASH I-YEAR , MBA: A virtual organization is one or company whose members are geographically apart , usually working by computer email and groupware appearing to others to be a single, unified organization with a real physical location. definition: The virtual organization is a multi-actor system consisting of Humans and Computer actors Virtual is something intangible, nonmaterial that we can imagine based on perceived images or practical experiences The virtual domain is mainly composed of Virtual actors, Virtual objects and virtual spaces. Virtualization : primary role of virtual domain Physical places of exchange become virtual places of exchange. That communicate and cooperate based on the virtual domain Principles: A dispersed network of skills and capabilities Principle of Switching : VO members can switch from one project to another Flexible, dynamic, restless Principle of synergy (many-to-one ) E.g.. Integration Principle of divergence (one-to-many ) VO is dependent on electronic linking, lies on the electronic space and is characterized by loose coupling .
