Reimbursed or Not Reimbursed:

Reimbursed or Not Reimbursed A member may possibly be reimbursed for general traffic violations or reckless driving charges. DUI’s are not covered Must be represented by lawyer Must be found not guilty

Reimbursements:

Reimbursements General traffic violation Basic: $100 Plus: $200 Reckless driving violation Basic: $250 Plus: $500

Emergency Trip Protection:

Emergency Trip Protection There will also be a change in the Emergency Trip Protection program. In the past a member needed to be 50 miles from home or from their destination in order to qualify for Emergency Trip Protection benefits. As of October 1 st , the distance has changed to 100 miles from home or from their destination.

Situation One:

Situation One John Jones was stopped for a speeding ticket. He went to court, represented himself , and was found not guilty . Would he be reimbursed for court costs under the Legal Defense program?

Situation Two:

Situation Two Rebecca Ryan hired a lawyer to represent her in court against a reckless driving charge. She was found guilty. Would she be reimbursed under the Legal Defense program?

Situation Three:

Situation Three Sam Stone hired a lawyer to represent him in court against a DUI charge. He was found not guilty . Would he be reimbursed under the Legal Defense program?

Situation Four:

Situation Four David Doyle hired a lawyer to represent him in court against a reckless driving charge. He was found not guilty. As a plus member, up to how much money would he be reimbursed under the Legal defense program?

Situation Five:

Situation Five Mr. and Mrs. Abbott are on their way to Orlando for a family reunion. Sixty three miles from home their vehicle breaks down. Under Emergency Trip Protection, would they be covered for a rental car, if they decide to leave their vehicle to be repaired and continue on their way to Orlando?
