Hutchinson When spring comes and it opens buds into beautiful flowers for all the world to see, : When spring comes and it opens buds into beautiful flowers for all the world to see, It puts to sleep a shaggy caterpillar, then awakens it into a pretty butterfly, like ME! : It puts to sleep a shaggy caterpillar, then awakens it into a pretty butterfly, like ME! Each morning I wake with the sun and I flit here and there, casting a tiny shadow, : Each morning I wake with the sun and I flit here and there, casting a tiny shadow, I soar through the air searching for a lovely flower garden, or a fragrant meadow. : I soar through the air searching for a lovely flower garden, or a fragrant meadow. I flutter amid blossoms seeking nectar and I help the bees pollinate many flowers. : I flutter amid blossoms seeking nectar and I help the bees pollinate many flowers. Sometimes I dart under a leaf to protect my wings from strong winds, or heavy showers. : Sometimes I dart under a leaf to protect my wings from strong winds, or heavy showers. I do not stay in one place for long, but where I do go, I try to spread life and create beauty. : I do not stay in one place for long, but where I do go, I try to spread life and create beauty.
