Hutchinson When I was young I pushed my shoulders back withpride each day, : When I was young I pushed my shoulders back withpride each day, Sometimes something did land upon them, but quicklyI would brush it away. : Sometimes something did land upon them, but quicklyI would brush it away. Often it was only a wisp of my own hair, a cobweb ora loose piece of thread. : Often it was only a wisp of my own hair, a cobweb ora loose piece of thread. But most of the time there was nothing resting uponmy shoulders, but my own head. : But most of the time there was nothing resting uponmy shoulders, but my own head. Through life they have often been bare and were blistered many times by the sun. : Through life they have often been bare and were blistered many times by the sun. There were countless bruises and scrapes upon them as I raced through life just having fun. : There were countless bruises and scrapes upon them as I raced through life just having fun. Every day I tried to brace my shoulders to make them strong. : Every day I tried to brace my shoulders to make them strong.
