What are some important things to keep in mind when you integrate skills? Slide 3: Activity Teacher discussing his/her family and student completing a family tree. (The sequence of activities for the speaking session) (The sequence of activities for the speaking session) Analyze sessions : Analyze sessions Skills Speaking Reading (very little) Writing Listening Why are they doing the activity? : Why are they doing the activity? To practice listening for specific information about family members. To practice/review vocabulary related to the family For students to discuss their family members. Slide 14: With careful reflection and planning, any teacher can integrate the language skills and strengthen the tapestry of language teaching and learning.
