26th September Antibes Requirements for guest cabin alteration as assessed with Chris Russell (chief officer) Change from twin berth to 1 x king-size berth Dissemble cabin Remove beds Remove settee Remove carpet Remove upholstered wall panels Remove mirror from bed head Remove bed side units Remove TV unit Remove non required timber flooring/boarders Move columns to suit new width of bed (As per existing adjacent cabin) – electrical & data services to be moved. Make good pelment from moving of columns Modify bulkhead panels to suit new sizes. Make new bulkhead panels for above bed (as per existing adjacent cabin) Fit mirror to bed head as per existing adjacent cabin Reupholster all bulkhead panels with selected fabric Refit fabric bulkhead panels Make new King size bed – as per existing bed in adjacent cabin Make new bed head unpholstered panels – as per existing bed in adjacent cabin Make new timber bulkhead panels, including skirting, to bulkheads where single beds have been removed from. Fit new timber bulkhead panels Cut down depth of lower TV unit to suit Fit new LCD TV to upper TV unit Refit TV unit Refit bedside units Make & fit new timber sole margins Make and fit new timber floor to suit Relay carpet General: All timber is stained Oak All units are made from a fire proof substrate (To be confirmed) & veneered over for classification requirements. Storm covers are to be stored under bunks (as well as having drawers for storage) Vessel will be in Auckland 15th – 20th November & all work is to be completed by end January. New mattress incl. linen etc to be sourced Metrica did original interior & can be contacted if required Boat built at Amels The vessel is to have CAT 5 cabling installed throughout & will require deckheads removed then replaced to enable this to take place. Sample discovery list for a refit
