Employees : 

Employees Considers as the pillars and most valuable resources Employee satisfaction in regard to organization, its policies and procedures and jobs to maintain harmonious IR; Employee friendly policies and rules to be framed; Right kind of recruitment;

1.These organizations represent and protect the interest of their members on all important issues that affect worker’s interest. 2. In the process of fighting for worker’s demand, the unions sometimes resort to pressure tactics like threats of strikes and gheraos. 3. Act as a ‘state agents’ by coordinating with the management for productivity improvement, work for employee welfare, safety, security benefits etc, decisions making role through effective ‘ worker participation in management’. In India, worker participation in management is through Work Committees, Joint Management Councils, and Worker Representatives on the Board of Directors. Trade Unions

Management : 

Management The role of management undergone a metamorphosis from an exploitative authoritative style to a more democratic participative style. Stages through which change has come: Exploitative authoritative(ememrgence of Trade Unions) Authoritative Management- authoritative rules of employment; Workers paid low wages, long hours of working with ruthless exploitation; Pathetic working conditions absence of any basic amenities like water; Enforced strict discipline.

2. Benevolent authoritative: The change was due to demands from trade unions and protective guard of government legislation. Paternalistic style i.e., employers looked upon workers as children who require careful guidance. Welfare amenities were provided;

Consultative management: Trade unions demanded they should have a SAY in management related issues, hence two way communication channel were introduced, Information sharing, consultation with unions, and collective bargaining received attention, Employees were treated as mature, intelligent individuals with a right to express one’s own opinions.

4. Participative style Employees are considered as stakeholders in the organization; Treated as partners and share the power with management; Employees have role in all major decision making aspects of the management; Employees are the ‘asset’ to organization.

Government : 

Government Provides a basic framework within which the management, trade unions and the employees work for the common good of the organization; Act as a mediator through the process of concillation, arbitration and adjudication when any kind of differences between three players.
