Although the technology has been around and ready to use for a while, most doctor’s offices have decided to still keep medical records on paper charts. It’s funny how we do so much online these days but doctor’s still choose to make their lives harder by keeping patient information on paper. The goal is to try to have every electronic record computerized by 2014. This will not only make things easier for doctors but will also decrease the amount of malpractice suits that are filed against doctors for botching procedures.
