The process of counting the votes is long and complicated. The canvassing process is manual. NEW “AUTOMATED” PROCESS : NEW “AUTOMATED” PROCESS CANDIDATE NAMES ARE PRE-FILLED: Instead of writing the name of the candidate, the oval beside the name is fully-marked. Invalid ballots are identified by the machine and diverted into the invalid bin. The counting process is quick. The generation of the ER is automatic upon the close of elections.
