Book Review – The Cherry Tree Story in Brief While coming back from school, Rakesh was having the cherries that were very sweet and yummy. Hi grandfather encourages him to plant the seed in his mouth and watch the cherry tree grow. When the Cherry Tree was a small plant, its leaves were eaten by the goat and was also accidently cut in half by the gardener. Rakesh was sad to learn this, but to his surprise, the Cherry Tree continue to grow. When it reached the Rakesh’s height, it started bearing fruits and later gave shelter to the grandfather. Once the two are out of danger, the boy introduces himself as Krishan . They eat mangoes that were there in the boat.
