The setup is very easy and you can start testing within minutes. Your test performance data is collected, analyzed and presented in real-time to provide you instant and valuable information.

How To Setup an A-B Split Test

Slide 2: 

Enter your username and password … Click on “Sign-in”

Slide 3: 

Click on “New Experiment”

Slide 4: 

Click on “A/B Split Test”

Slide 5: 

Pick a name for your experiment Enter the URL of your first “test page”(i.e. page A) Enter the URL of your ”goal page” Select the amount of traffic to allocate for this experiment

Click “Next”

Copy this code and paste it to your test page (i.e. page A)

The code should be pasted right before the closing </head> tag

Copy this code and paste it to your goal page

While you are working with your web pages, Optimyser automatically saves your progress

Once the code snippets are pasted to your pages, click “Next” Optimyser will attempt to verify that all required code snippets are in place If you need to, you can bypass the verification by checking this checkbox

You will receive a message if there is a problem with the code snippet placement Click “Next” if everything is ok

Click the green “plus icon” to specify your alternative test pages (B page, C page etc.)

Pick a name Click “Ok”

Enter the URL of your alternative test page Click here , if you need to specify additional pages Otherwise, click here to review your test pages

Here is a summary of your experiment setup You can review your test and goal pages by using the links below You can always go back, if you need to make changes If everything is fine, click this button to launch your experiment!
