ENTERING THE CLASSROOM:

ENTERING THE CLASSROOM Enter the room quietly and have all required materials for class work (pens, pencils, and notebooks). Immediately after putting belongings away please be prepared to do the assignment on the board. The role will be taken prior to assignment.

HOMEWORK:

HOMEWORK Place all homework assignments in designated baskets. Group activities and make-up assignments will have a designated basket. Incentives will be given to students that consistently turn in homework on time.

NOTES FROM HOME :

NOTES FROM HOME After role is taken students can raise their hand sand put notes from home into the designated basket. During class time I will talk to each student on an individual basis.

RESTROOM BREAKS:

RESTROOM BREAKS Bathroom breaks will be taken one hour before Lunch. After lunch another break will be given. Breaks to the restroom throughout the day will be given by having a hall pass.

FEELING SICK:

FEELING SICK IF STUDENTS FEEL SICK PLEASE NOTIFY THE TEACHER. IF THE CASE IS SEVERE, PARENTS WILL BE CALLED.

THROWING TRASH AWAY:

THROWING TRASH AWAY Please raise your hands before leaving your seat. Please keep learning center area clean and back in order after using the center.

SIGNALS FOR ATTENTENTION:

SIGNALS FOR ATTENTENTION Students must raise hands when needing assistance. During classroom discussions students must raise hands and not speak out.

REWARDS Extra computer time Classroom Helper Homework Pass Office Aid Books and Posters

NEGATIVE CONSEQUENCES :

NEGATIVE CONSEQUENCES Continuous incompleteness of independent and dependent group assignments reduction of privileges. Disruption of the class or misbehavior over a period of time detention. If misbehavior continues students will be escorted to the principal’s office and parents contacted.
