After many years the children all moved away. Knobby retired then Knobby and Sylvia sold their house, put things in storage and……………. Set off on a grand adventure to find a place to live!!!!

After months of traveling down the east coast they finally got tired and stopped to rest in some god forsaken city called Fort Walton Beach, Florida. : 

After months of traveling down the east coast they finally got tired and stopped to rest in some god forsaken city called Fort Walton Beach, Florida. After being evacuated from their first condo (due to a hurricane) they remained throughout the devastation and rented at Breakwaters………………… They enjoyed the oceanfront view………. But longed to live at the Matador

Nine years later….they are still there!!! They are living at the Matador and they valiantly refuse to heed the signs from above to move on in their quest for the perfect retirement community… :

Despite hurricane after hurricane, red tides, dead fish, one condo nightmare after another etc. etc. etc. They’re still there!!!

But they haven’t lost their sense of humor!!! (Maybe some of their sanity and bodily functions but not their sense of humor!!) :
