Premium member Presentation Transcript Slide 1: Once upon a time… Slide 2: Two people were born 10 years apart on opposite ends of Michigan… Slide 3: They both had (fairly) normal childhoods and crazy families… Slide 4: They were both pretty cute growing up… Slide 6: They both graduated high school… Slide 7: Then, miraculously, many years later they met… Slide 8: in ROCKFORD, ILLINOIS!! Slide 9: Ok, well, maybe not… But it might have happened! Slide 10: They actually met in August, 2000 at Slide 11: They had their first, official “date” In July, 2001 at the Thai Cafe in Plymouth Slide 12: From then on, they spent as much time as possible together and they fell in love… Slide 14: In December, 2001 they decided to get married… Slide 16: And on March 14, 2002 they were married in Port Antonio, Jamaica… Slide 20: When they retuned from Jamaica they had a small reception on May 17, 2002… Slide 24: It was the perfect evening for the perfect love. Slide 25: Then their real adventure began… Slide 27: In August 2002 David left for England - Nicole and David missed each other and sent pictures every day… Slide 29: In September, Nicole got to visit David Slide 33: They both moved to England in October, 2002 Slide 34: They lived in Ironbridge & Priorslee and traveled all over England… Slide 35: and they traveled to Paris, Venice and Prague, too! Slide 36: When they moved back to the US in June, 2003 – time started to fly… Slide 37: They moved to Milford, MI in September, 2003 and then to Worcester, MA in June, 2005 Slide 38: In January, 2006 they made a life-changing decision and moved back to England Slide 39: Unfortunately, the whole England thing didn’t turn out so well… But David & Nicole got to see Rome… Slide 40: David got to own a BMW 7-Series and Nicole got to ride around in the 1981 Classic Mini that they finished restoring Slide 41: But, all good things must come to an end and they moved back to Michigan in January, 2007 Slide 42: They had a very nice house and gave lots of fun parties… Slide 44: Then the economy crashed and David had another stroke, so in March, 2009 they began another adventure… Slide 45: And they moved to The Middle of Nowhere… YIKES!!! Slide 46: Luckily, they didn’t have to live in the middle of nowhere house for too long… Slide 47: They found a beautiful house near Traverse City and moved in August 11, 2009 Slide 54: Through all this they haven’t been alone….oh no…. Slide 55: They’ve had LOTS of companionship! Slide 61: So Happy 8th Anniversary, David - It’s been a helluva ride… And I love you more every day.
