A knife is any thing with a cutting edge or blade. It can be hand-held or other wise, with or without a handle. A knife is also a edge tool used as a cutting instrument . It has a pointed blade with a sharp edge and a handle. There are hundreds of knives in the world. One example is a kitchen knife. There is a santoku knife, hunting knife a putty knife and more kinds of knives. There are just to popular to name all the knives.

Slide 3:

Did you know that caveman invented the knife? The first knife invented was made of rock, fint, obsidian. Did you know that knives made today are made of titanium, bronze, copper, iron, steel, ceramics. Plus the knives of today are better constructed than when they were first made.

Slide 4:

The knife was first invented in Africa back around 1646. By as I said caveman. Using the materials that they had back then.

Slide 5:

Knives were used for survival at the time of caveman against animals. Also I forgot to add one more thing the parts of knives. There is on a knife. Some times a bullet, a blade and a handle.

Slide 7:

This is how the knife is used today. It is used for cutting, hunting, wood craving, electrical work and lots more things the knife is used for.

Slide 8:

Life would have been different without the knife. Without the knife you wouldn’t be able to cut. Also you wouldn’t be able to hunt animals or cut wood or put butter on bread or cutting cardstock, paperboard and corrugated fiberboard. But the worst thing is that you would not be able to cut food which means no lettuce for example.
