1. And 2. 1. atrium- formal entrance hall This was used as the main hall way. The biggest hallway 2. Peristylium - colonnade garden .(walk way around the garden , hortus ). A way to walk around the garden

3. And 4. and 5. 3. vestibulum - entrance hall ,normal hall from via to the fauces . 4. fauces - the corridor which led from the main door onwards into the atrium . 5. Impluvium -a small pool , that catches rain water (used for cleaning, bathing etc.) romans used this for a water source

6. ,7. and 8:

6. ,7. and 8 6. ala - open rooms on each side of the atrium. No specific use mostly done by tradition . 7. Triclinium - the dining room of the romans specifically for dining. 8. Tablinum - between the Peristylium and the atrium and is used for the head of the family (father ) as an office.

9.,10., and 11.:

9.,10., and 11. 9. Exedra- this is behind the Peristylium and is used as a dining room or a lounge. 10. taberna - used as shops and for goods even for unworthy storage place. 11. Cubiculum- bedrooms for the owners and children sometimes for the servants.

12,14, and 15:

12,14, and 15 12. Andron - passage way from the Peristylium and the atrium. 14. cubiculum- another bedroom but could be used for servants 15. Culina - kitchen. Where they cook and make food.
