In the name of God, Most Gracious, Most Merciful * Allah :- “The God” Muslims use the Arabic term as the proper name for God. Muslims view Allah as the creator and sustainer of everything in the universe. Arab Christian also use the term Allah to refer to God.
Islam:- the concepts of peace, surrender, and commitment, and refers commonly to an individual’s surrender and commitment to God the creator through adherence to the religion of the same name.
Qura’an:- “The recitation” or “ The reading”. It consists of 114 surahs (chapters) revealed by God to Muhammad over a period of 23 years. As example, “Remember when the wife of 'Imran said, "My Lord, I have pledged to You what is in my womb, devoting it to Your service. Please accept my prayer. You are the All-Hearing, the All-Knowing." (Surah Al 'Imran, 35)
Slide 3:
*Hadith:- mean ‘Saying’ in Arabic. It records of the actions, saying, and record of the prophet Muhammad. As example, "Searching for knowledge is compulsory upon every Muslims male and Muslim female“ The prophet.
Ka’abah:- An empty cube- shaped structure located in the city of Makkah(Mecca) of Saudi Arabia. Built it by Prophet Adam, and later rebuilt by Prophet Ibrahim and his son Prophet Isma’il about 4000 years ago. Also, it is the first building dedicated to the worship of the one God.
Hijab:- means cloth separating two things or spaces. The term Hijab is used to denote the scarf or other type of covering the head worn by women Muslims through the world.
Khalifah:- thids term is used in the Qura’an to refer to mankind as being God’s Khaifah or vicegerent on earth. As leader of the ”Ummah”( the Muslim community as a whole.) and it doesn’t same the Prophet.

Masjid:- A term meaning “ place of prostration” Masjid designates a building where a Muslims congregate for communal worship. The Masjid also serves various social , Educational, and Religion purposes.
Shariah:- “The Path” refers to guidance from God to be used by Muslims to regulate their societal and personal affairs. “ Islamic Law” is based upon the Qura’an and Prophet Muhammad.
"If anyone rules by other than what Allah has revealed they are kafireen (unbelievers)."(TM.Qur'an. Maida 5:47).
