Premium member Presentation Transcript Slide 1: Polo en Argentina Slide 2: Argentine Championship 2004 , first match The players waiting on line for the referee to throw the ball Slide 3: Each team has 4 players, the game goes during 8 chakers ( each lasting 7 minutes) and 3 minutes “in between”to rest. Slide 4: End of the game, the players embraced each other “Chapa uno”,(the Marlboro team) is formed by 3 brothers . They were 4 (till 1 of them died ) and each of them was vallued with 10, the maximun handicap. Slide 5: That day they won the match and were given a coup Slide 6: Horses going “home” after the match. Horses can be changed whenever a player need it. Slide 7: 2004 : Final match for the Argentinian Campionship Slide 8: Before the match, a parade with old traditional carriages Slide 9: Tango is danced Slide 10: The flag is shown all around the field Slide 11: Siping “mate”, waiting for the match to begin Slide 12: End of the day, end of the match. People cross the field to watch the new champions be given the cup Slide 13: Year 2005, “Tortugas Country Club” Championship Slide 16: Greeting the winners: “Chapa uno” Slide 18: A militar parede before the final match for the “Argentinian Championship 2005” Slide 19: Arrivive one of the teams Slide 20: Polo, a sport that enjoy argentinians with people from all over the world Slide 21: Year 2007 “Hurlingham Cllub Championship” Slide 25: A closer view of the referee and the bag where the balls are kept Slide 26: Changing “taco”: the wooden stick used to strike the balls Slide 27: End of the game Slide 28: Argentine Championship 2007 Slide 29: “Chapa uno,”, now sponsored by Toyota won a match, were given a coup, lost the champeonship and decided to retire.
