synopsis:

synopsis In electronic appliances, overload causes many problems. The device may burn due to overload, over heating etc. This project is developed for the users to protect devices from overload.

DESCRIPTION:

DESCRIPTION The main modules in this project are overload sensor and microcontroller. The overload sensor (Current and voltage transformer) is connected with the load. The actual load to be used is already set in the microcontroller. According to the power consumes by the load, the current transformer sends signal to the microcontroller. The microcontroller analyses the signal and if the load is beyond the particular limit, it sends signal to the buzzer through driver section. Thus the user can easily identify that the load is too high than the actual load. The microcontroller program is written in assembly language, and the microcontroller used is PIC16F877A.

Precision rectifier The precision rectifier , which is also known as a super diode. Its configuration is obtained with an operational amplifier in order to have a circuit behaving like an ideal diode and rectifier . It can be useful for high-precision signal processing.
