Sonic Booms:

Sonic Booms By Alex and Davin

Sonic Booms:

Sonic Booms Summary: Sound waves travel at different speeds through materials. They travel fastest through hard, solid materials. Sound waves reflect from smooth, hard surfaces. An echo is a sound reflection. Objects traveling faster then the speed of sound cause Shock Waves that we hear as Sonic Boom. You can hear this shock wave as a “BOOM BOOM”. When a plane catches up to the sound waves, they are squeezed closer together.
