We will be on this boat—the Rio Amazonas Slide 2: Raul Chota, the national missionary who has invited us to work in the villages along the river where he has started some churches and other places he is hoping to start new churches We travel up river to where 2 rivers come together at the head of the Amazon. Slide 3: The rooms, although a bit small, do have beds. Each room has it’s own bathroom. Slide 4: Nancy and a couple of the Villa Milagro folks will go with us to cook for us…lots of good food! Slide 5: Pharmacy Patio area Slide 6: When we stop, the boat crew will dig out steps along the bank and people start showing up before the steps are finished. Slide 7: People not only came to be seen by land, but they also came by the boat loads! Slide 8: Taking care of patients … …and entertaining them. Slide 9: Boats and houses on the river. Slide 11: Dolphins in the Amazon! The only snakes we saw were in captivity. -A few animal photos- Slide 12: Some of the fish caught by the boat crew… …and Larry’s prize catch… AKA supper.
