What is constitution??? Constitution is the fundamental principles or established p recedents according to which a state or other organization is governed. when these principles are written down into a single collection or set of legal documents is said to comprise a written constituent. Constitution of 1973:

Constitution of 1973 East Pakistan was separated from the rest of the country in 1971.General Yahya was held responsible for the East Pakistan debacle and had to resign. He handed over government to Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto, chairman of Pakistan People party. The constitution committee, under Abdul Hafeez Pirzada present the draft constitution on February 1973.The constitution was enforced on 14 August 1973.

Summary of constitution of 1973 NAME OF COUNTRY: Pakistan shall be Federal Republic to known as Islamic Republic of Pakistan. STATE RELIGION: Islam shall be the religion of Pakistan. PRESIDENT: The 1973 Constitution established the parliamentary system in the country. The president is a titular head of the country and the execute power are vested with the Prime Minister and his Cabinet.

PRIME MINISTER: The prime minister is the head of the government. The Prime Minister and his Cabinet are collectively responsible to the National Assembly. APOINTMENT OF GOVERNOR: There shall be a Governor for each Province, who will be appointed by the President. PARLIAMENT: The constitution of 1973 provides for Bicameral Legislature which consists of the Senate, Nation Assembly and The President.:
