* Active duty military serving outside the United States for more than 90 days will have until June 30, 2011 to qualify for the incentive.
The Details :
The Details Tax credit up to $8,000 for first-time home buyers and up to $6,500 for trade-up home buyers.
Income limits have increased to $125,000 for Single filers and $225,000 for Joint filers.
Home purchase price capped at $800,000.
Can claim 2010 purchases on 2009 income tax returns.
Does NOT have to be repaid provided the home remains their primary residence for 36 months after purchase.*
* Waived for active duty military personnel who move due to a military order.
