If so… Practice for the Ohio Achievement Test (OAT) using the Ohio Department of Education’s Success Website! Slide 2: This Vodcast is designed to show you the steps on how to use The Ohio Department of Education’s (ODE) Success Website. ODE’s Success Website helps students get ready for grade-level Ohio Achievement Tests in Reading, Math, Social Studies, Science and Writing. Vodcast Slide 3: http://ohio3-8.success-ode-state-oh-us.info/ Step 1: Go to the website listed below (on the computer screen). (Make sure that you enter every letter and number of the website correctly!) Slide 4: Click on the box Step 2: When you get to the website, you will see the three boxes below. Click on the middle box…the one that says “Practice for the Test”. Help students get ready for grade-level tests in various subjects. Understand what students should know and be able to do by the end of each grade. See actual test questions, learn how students' tests are scored and see how students usually do on each test question. Slide 5: Step 3: Next, you will see two more boxes. Click on the box that says “Students Practice for the Test”. Students Practice For the Test Teachers Build Practice Tests Click on the box Slide 6: Take a Test without Logging In Step 4: The next page you will see has “Take a Practice Test” at the top. You need to look down at the bottom right corner for the box that says “Take a Test without Logging In”. Click the box that says: Slide 7: Step 5: On the next page you will click until you get to your practice test… Click on the subject that you want to practice: Math, Reading, Science, Social Studies or Writing. Next, click on the grade you want to practice: grades 3-8. Then, click on year that you want to practice (you can choose any one). Finally, click the test that is available (Spring or Fall). You are now ready to begin! Slide 8: Now that you are ready to take your OAT Practice Test, there are a few things to remember: You will only answer one question at a time. After answering a question, click on “save and continue”. The correct answer will have a green check mark beside it and there will be reasons why the other answers are incorrect. Click next when you are ready to move to the next question. Take your time, try your best and remember… practice, practice, practice! You do not have the permission to view this presentation.
