Collectively, this information represents nearly every scheduled flight in the world. Amadeus has three main types of flight displays from which to obtain this information. This lesson will teach you about the timetable display. The next lesson will cover flight availability and schedule displays. The entries to display flight information use the three-letter city or airport codes you learnt about in Lesson 2.Slide 9: In this 1 st section, you will learn how to retrieve a neutral airliners timetable for a city pair and interpret the system response.Slide 13: Timetables contain important information regarding each flight's frequency of operation. One thing that timetables do not display is the actual availability of seats on a given flight. In the next lesson, you will learn about availability and schedule displays, which do include seating inventories, and allow you to book flights. Timetables are used for informational purposes only and to ascertain the frequency of flight operations over a period of one week from the date specified in our entry. A neutral timetable is the most basic type in that it lists flights in the most general order possible. There are other, more advanced types of timetable displays. Just know that there are other types out there, although neutral timetables are generally the most useful. Please advance to the next frame where you will learn the entry about how to display the neutral timetable in agent assembly area.Slide 14: Excerpts from Course 1 | Part 2 – Lesson 6Slide 15: http://multiwings.blogspot.com M U L T I W I N G S WebTravel Academy Mira-Bhayandar, Mumbai – I N D I A COMPUTER-BASED TRAINING Airlines Reservations & PNR Management Course Lesson – 6 How To Access Availability of Seats On Scheduled Flights Emulating Amadeus Global Distribution System Course 1 – Part 2 | Lesson 6 | Section 1 Access Basic Seat Availability On Flights Copyright ( C ) 2011 Onwards ALL RIGHTS RESERVEDSlide 16: Before proceeding to next frame of slides, I need to inform you that in system entry format, whatever alphabets which are shown in RED is to be presumed as mandatory system entries or function/s that cannot be changed.
