The Guillotine:

The Guillotine Guillotine must to be square in order to cut square sheets. When the machine is squared the back gauge will be parallel to the cutting knife as well as the side guides square to the knife. CUTTING TABLE, SIDE GUIDES and BACK GAUGE

First Cut:

First Cut Adjust the guillotine to length for the first cut. Jog the lift of sheets to the back right corner. Then move the lift from the corner and jog to the back. Cut edge 1.

Second Cut:

Second Cut Rotate lift so that the newly cut edge 1 is against the back gauge. Do not jog into a corner. Adjust the cutting length. Cut edge 2. Now edge 1 and edge 2 are parallel to each other.

Third Cut:

Third Cut Rotate lift so that edge 1 is against the side guide . Do not jog into a corner. Cut edge 3.

Fourth Cut:

Fourth Cut Rotate the lift so that edge 2 and 3 are against the back gauge and side guide. Adjust the length of the cut. Jug the lift into the corner. Cut edge 4. The sheet is now squared.

Squared Sheets:

Squared Sheets Material is now squared and ready for further processing.
