I conducted an oral, anonymous survey regarding the administration’s evaluation on the performance of the MTC first-year teachers based on a scale from 1 – 5 (with 5 being the highest). Survey Questions… : 1- Significantly below average 2- Below average 3- Average 4- Above average 5- Significantly above average Survey Questions… Compared to other first-year teachers, the content knowledge of MTC teachers is… Compared to other first-year teachers, the ability of the MTC teachers to teach an effective lesson is… Compared to other first-year teachers, the classroom management skills of MTC teachers are… Compared to other first-year teachers, the MTC teachers’ overall performance is… Survey Questions cont.: Survey Questions cont. You are satisfied with the MTC teachers? Would you like to make any additional comments or suggestions? I am definitely satisfied! Send me more like her please. He did a good job and did well with classroom management. He is a very big asset to our school. He is a good person and listens to instruction very well. He also applies the advice that he is given.Comments and/or Suggestions cont.: Comments and/or Suggestions cont. Classroom management is the only thing he needs to work on. The only problem I have is parental contact. He needs to call and let parents know about grades, failures and behavior problems more often because this is his weakest area. Great teacher for a first year teacher.
