Maintaining order in the classroom through the use of established routines and procedures in such a way that the students are actively involved in the learning process.
Aaron’s Philosophy of Classroom Management: Aaron’s Philosophy of Classroom Management Every student CAN learn, IF they are properly motivated.
It is MY responsibility to find the right way to motivate each student to perform to the best of his or her ability.
Learning takes place when both of the above conditions are met.
What is a “positive learning environment?”: What is a “positive learning environment?” Students are motivated to learn

2nd offense – writing assignment
3rd offense – call home
4th offense/severity clause – sent to office

Procedures: Procedures
Entering Class: Entering Class Come in quietly, no rowdy or excessive noise.
Place any homework in proper bin
Quietly sit down, take out journal and begin working on the warm-up on the board.
Sit quietly after finishing.
Make-up work: Make-up work If you are absent, you are responsible for all missed work.
Make-up work will be placed in a folder specifically marked for absent students.
All make-up work is due the day following a student’s return to school.
Tardy Policy: Tardy Policy Students are expected to be in their seat when the bell rings.
If arriving late, students are expected to quietly take their seat and join in the work the rest of the class is doing.
If the student has no appropriate excuse, a writing assignment will be given.
Group Presentations: Group Presentations Presenting dialogues will be a big part of class.
Students are expected to work quietly in their groups while creating dialogues.
Students are expected to pay attention and be quiet during other groups’ presentations.
Leaving the Classroom: Leaving the Classroom The bell does not dismiss class, Señor Madson does.
Students will pack up when directed to, and not while Señor Madson is still talking.
Students will be dismissed in groups, in an orderly fashion.
