Miss Nelson Is Missing!: Miss Nelson Is Missing! Miss Nelson Is Missing is a children’s book by Harry Allard and James Marshall. It compares two styles of classroom management.


Miss Nelson…: Miss Nelson… Patient Kind Forgiving Cares for students Lets students walk all over her


Ms. Viola Swamp…: Ms. Viola Swamp… Makes children work Yells Disciplines children, but uses intimidation and fear.

Ms. Polay’s Definition of Classroom Management: Ms. Polay’s Definition of Classroom Management A system of organization which includes procedures and activities that actively engage students and promote a positive learning environment.


Ms. Polay’s Philosophy: Ms. Polay’s Philosophy Each student can learn and knows what is expected of him/her. The teacher makes his/her best effort to reach each student and sets high expectations for students. Together the students and teachers contribute to a task-oriented ,predictable, and fun environment.

BYU Campus!!!: BYU Campus!!! Yes, BYU is an example of a positive learning environment, but what makes it a positive learning environment?
