An effective plan consists of rules, procedures, consequences, and rewards for students behavior; planning, organization, and parental involvement are all apart of classroom management. Philosophy of ClassroomManagement : Philosophy of ClassroomManagement A good classroom management plan can be a teacher's most useful tool in cultivating students achievement. The purpose of classroom management is to provide a stable and organized learning environment for students to learn. Teacher must have high expectations for student achievement and must see to it that these expectations are met or exceeded. Positive Learning Environment : Positive Learning Environment Rules and consequences posted, visible, and reviewed frequently Student work is displayed The classroom is neat and organized Cooperation among peer is encouraged and expected through group work The teacher is consistent and fair Parents are welcome and encouraged to visit Positive Learning Environment : Positive Learning Environment Planning is evident in daily lessons and activities Students are encouraged to be creative and expressive through class projects and activities There shall be mutual trust and respect amongst teacher and students. Classroom Rules (the old ones)? : Classroom Rules (the old ones)? Follow directions Raise your hand for permission to speak Raise your hand for permission to leave your seat Keep hands, feet and other objects to yourself Respect yourself and others Classroom RulesRevised : Classroom RulesRevised Follow directions Be SILENT while teacher is talking Stay in your seat at all times, unless otherwise instructed No eating or drinking in the classroom (this includes, but is not limited to: pop, hot cheetos/fries, sunflower seeds, kool aid mix, gum and/or candy)? Consequences : Consequences Warning Writing Assignment/Multiple Detention Call Home Referral ** I reserve the right to choose an appropriate consequence based on the offense.** Warning: If you make me write a referral it may and probably will result in ISS, parent conference, parent monitoring and/or suspension.
