Three Shades of Me:

Three Shades of Me Steps: Have a partner take a head & shoulders portrait of you with balanced/flat lighting on a simple background (no distracting colours, shadows or patterns). Duplicate yourself so that you appear three times in one image. Use layer masks to make the left “you” a composite of 2 left sides, and the right “you” a composite of 2 right sides.

Step 2 Duplicate yourself twice (for 3 copies of you on the same image)

Step 3 Copy the left side of your face and paste it onto the left “you”. Use the Transform tool to Flip V ertically. Position it over the right side of your left “ you”’s face.

Step 4 Use a Layer Mask to blend the two sides of the face. Remember: black hides and white reveals!

Step 5 Repeat on the right “you”: duplicate the right side of your face, flip it, place it, and mask it.

Step 6 Add a fake background (use any image). Again, use a layer mask to blend everything together.
