Prepared By: Kathy C Contributor at Six Pack Abs V Another great reason to consider these six pack training tips is the childhood obesity epidemic. It is ever growing, so having some fun and exercising at the same time is a good way to both get in an exercise session and spend some time playing with your kids.

Prepared By: Kathy C Contributor at Six Pack Abs V Pelvic tilt - Lay on your back with your knees up.  Slowly raise your hip up, tightening your abs and glutes as you do so.  Hold of a couple seconds and then slowly lower.  Repeat twenty times for a great simple workout.

Prepared By: Kathy C Contributor at Six Pack Abs V ‘The Vacuum’ - Stand tall and take a deep breath. While letting it out try to pull your abs back to try to touch your spine.  Hold for a few seconds and repeat.  Do these 10-15 at a time. No picture for this one due to the subtle and barely noticeable movement.

Prepared By: Kathy C Contributor at Six Pack Abs V ‘The Drop’ - Another good isometric type abs exercise is to lie on the floor with your knees up.  Place a roll of tape, a ball, or some small object on your stomach.  Pull your abs in toward your spine, keeping the object in place.  Repeat 20 time Last one without a picture, there’s such a subtle drop you really can’t see. Visit the site for more information or to request a video!

Prepared By: Kathy C Contributor at Six Pack Abs V ‘The Superman’ - Lay on your stomach on the floor.  Slowly raise your arms and your legs into a flying position, keeping them straight.  Hold for a few seconds and slowly return to start position.  Do 10-15 of these.

Prepared By: Kathy C Contributor at Six Pack Abs V ‘The Frankenstein’ - From a standing position, put your arms out in front of you; walking stiff legged, try to raise your feet up high enough to touch your toes to your finger tips.  Continue for about 10 or twenty steps, then rest briefly and do it again.

Prepared By: Kathy C Contributor at Six Pack Abs V The last two exercises are fun and you can turn them into a game with your family! One idea could be to have Frankenstein Races in your yard or your living room!

Prepared By: Kathy C Contributor at Six Pack Abs V:

Prepared By: Kathy C Contributor at Six Pack Abs V With the ‘Superman’ exercise, turn that into a “flying contest”. You can see who can hold the flight the longest without getting shaky. If you do turn them into games, make sure you are watching your children's form! I am not a doctor, and I am assuming neither are you. Make sure it is safe first.
