I go to Omni Middle School and I’m a straight A student. Outside of school I like to play sports, including football which is my favorite. Technology : Technology The practical use of human knowledge to extend abilities and to satisfy human needs and wants. Slide 4: An organized way of achieving a goal System Slide 5: The process used to exchange information Communications Technology Slide 6: A website that consists of regular posts that readers can respond to through comments. Short for weblog Blog The “Name Game” : The “Name Game” In class, we played a helpful system to learn each other’s names called “the Name Game”. This game created benefits for me and my fellow students to learn each other’s names and a couple interests or interesting things about them. There was only one problem. As we rotated, the people rotating, like me, were unable to meet the other kids moving from seat to seat as well as the kids sitting were unable to meet the other people not moving. We came up with a very helpful solution of dividing the class into two groups: the kids that were rotating and the kids that were sitting. Then the two groups meet the other kids in their group and everyone has successfully met everyone in their class. Current Events: : Current Events: Haiti A terrible earthquake.. : A terrible earthquake.. Homes Destroyed… : Homes Destroyed… Displaced residents and victims gather on streets and a soccer field in Port-au-Prince. Credit: GeoEye Tens of thousands lives were lost… : Tens of thousands lives were lost… What can we do? : What can we do? Slide 13: Many countries around the world are working together to contribute to the unfortunate victims in Haiti that were effected by the earthquake. You may be able to try working with your school or family to find a way to contribute or donate to those whose lives have been affected for the worse. Many organizations like the Red Cross are always looking for donations to benefit the people in need. Once Upon a Dream… : Once Upon a Dream… Slide 15: My dream is to become a big time lawyer in either California or New York.
