About Me Hello, my name is Lindsey. I am twelve years old and I am in seventh grade. I have two younger brothers named Brett and Justin. Brett is ten and Justin is seven. Out of school, I enjoy playing sports such as basketball, tennis, and lacrosse. I play for the Omni girls basketball team. My parents names are Wendy and Elliot and my dog is named Pumpkin.

Definitions : 

Definitions Technology - the practical use of human knowledge to extend human abilities and to satisfy human needs and wants. System - an organized way of achieving a goal. Communication Technology – the process used to exchange information. Blog – a website that consists of regular posts that readers can respond to through comments. Short for Web Blog.

Systems : 

Systems There were many benefits to this system. This system helped improve my social skills and learn all of the names of my classmates. One thing that needed to be improved was that the people on the same side as each other were not able to meet each other. In order to solve this problem all the people who did not meet each other went across from each other. Overall this was a great activity.

Haiti : 

Haiti A few week ago Haiti suffered a major tragedy. They were hit by a 7.0 earthquake. This earthquake resulted in lost of lives, and a lot of people who became injured. This earthquake stroke Port-au France.

I have a Dream : 

I have a Dream Martin Luther King was a man who had a dream. His dream was to have peace within cultures and races. My dream is to live a life filled with health, happiness, and peace. Without any wars or segregation. Without people becoming ill and without people being upset.

Video Production : 

Video Production Daniela and I were partners for the video production project. We had a lot of fun filming the video and taking a lot of pictures. We did encounter a problem however, When we connected our camera to the computer, the camera screen wouldn’t turn on. We solved this problem with the help of Mr. Goldstein.

Team Intro Video For this design challenge my partner was Daniela. Daniela and I introduced and told a little bit about ourselves. We also spoke about what we do in technology class. Our team intro video

Paper Tower Challenge : 

Paper Tower Challenge For our first design challenge we had to try to make the tallest tower using only one piece of paper and a little bit of tape. We decided to make our paper into a cylinder. Our tower did not end up to be so tall compared to the other groups in our class but at least we tried our best. Click here to see our video

Mission: platform design : 

Mission: platform design For this challenge I was with Daniela. The only supplies we were able to use were a manila folder and tape. Our challenge was to be able to stack 25 pounds on our platform that we made out of the manila folder and the tape. Our structure did not turn out so well and was not able to hold a lot of weight. Hopefully, our next design will be more successful. Click here to view this video
