My name is Luke. I have one brother in 3rd grade. I’m in 6th grade and I’m 11 years old. I have two dogs. I was born in Boca Raton, FL, September 22, 1998. My brother was born June 25th. My brother and I both love sports. About Me !!

Technology- The practical use of human knowledge to extend human abilities and to satisfy human needs and wants. System- an organized way of achieving a goal. Communication technology- the process used to exchange information. Blog- a website that consists of regular posts that readers can respond to through comments. Short for weblog. Vocabulary

Slide 4: 

In class we created a system to learn each other’s names. The benefits of the system created were that we met half the class and learned the names and three things about them. Unfortunately, we didn’t see half the class that was either not rotating or rotating. We had to go into separate groups to see the rest of the class. We did learn the students’ names but it took a while. System: "The Name Game"

Haiti In Haiti, a couple of weeks ago, there was a devastating earthquake that killed many people. It destroyed many buildings and other structures. To help we can send money, food, clothing, and help. This alone might not even be enough.

Slide 6: 

I Have A Dream... My dream is to be a professional sports player. I would like to be able to have the opportunity to have fun every day while I work/ get paid. I’ve always liked sports and to do them every day would be fun. The salaries are so high. To be paid while I have fun would be so great!

Slide 7: 

Those things that went well are that we all helped each other out so we had enough time to finish, plus it was a good movie. I enjoyed making special effects and shooting (filming), more than being in the movie. We decided what we were going to do by seeing what we like and what we were good at. Some of the challenges that came along with shooting the video was that we all had to be in the video. Some times we didn’t know what to say but eventually made like a script where we knew what to say before. Over all, we worked very well together and got to finish a good movie and post it to the web. Another thing I would like to learn about filming would be to know how to do animation (not clay mation). I would like to do this again except, something fictional, animation. iMovie

Platform design challenge Platform Design Challenge In this challenge we had to construct a platform out of a manila folder and 12 in. of tape and must hold a 25 pound weight. My group found a way to hold it. Click here to view video.
