About Me: My name is Daniela A.. I have a Mom, Dad, a younger Sister, and a Dog. My favorite sport is soccer. I love the sport. Its so much fun and also I always play against my friends. I also like to hang out with my friends. I have some friends named: Fabiana, Amanda, Lindsey, Remy, and Rachel. When I grow up I would like to become an actress. My favorite color is blue and sometimes a light green.

Definitons ~Technology- The practical use of human knowledge to extend human abilities and to satisfy human needs and wants. ~ System- an organized way of achieving a goal. ~ Communication Technology- The process used to exchange information. ~ Blog- a website that consists of regular posts that readers can respond to through comments. (Short for Web Blog)

Slide 4: 

Haiti~ Just last week Haiti had experienced a devastating natural disaster. Its was hit with a earthquake. This is one of the most poor and least developed countries in the world, so its going to be a struggle to get back up and have all of its citizens once again healthy. Many countries are helping them. Such as the U.S.A, we are sending doctors and some people are even adopting the hurt children. So far there has been a death toll of at least 50,000.

Systems In working in a system everything is organized. For example on one of the first days of technology we played the name game. This is a game in which everyone rotates to people they have not met yet. Mostly everyone met new people and learned their name. We talked to the new people we met and learned a few facts about them. Such as their favorite color, movie, sport, etc. There was one problem with the system. This was because half of people weren’t rotating to meet new people, everyone only meet half of the class. Slide 6: 

Everyone has a dream just like Dr. Martin Luther King did. Martin Luther King's dream was to have peace within different races and cultures and makes sure every person is treated differently. My dream is to become a famous actress. I always loved acting and watching movies and always wondered if I could become just like those actors and actresses. I've always wanted to be in movies and maybe even TV shows. I also have another dream. "I have a dream."

Slide 7: 

Lindsey and I were partners in the video production. In our project, what went well was that we got to make her video and took a lot of pictures with the video camera. What I practically liked doing was recording with Lindsey; we made fun videos of us in Mr. Goldstein's class. It wasn't a challenge to decide who did what considering that we only have two people in our group. The challenges and problems that occur was that when we plugged the camera in to the Mac the screen went blank. We solved it with the help of Mr. Goldstein. In our project we did not get that far because we had difficulties. We were able to shoot a video but did not post it to the website; also we did not post it to iMovie yet. Once Lindsey and I posted the video I would like to edit it by putting sounds into it. ~Video Production~

Design Challenge: 1 For the first video production Lindsey and I had to do, we had to introduce ourselves. This was to make a tower out of a 8x 11x piece of paper. We had 12 inches of tape to make it. Lindsey and I made a tower that was about a foot long. We constructed it by cutting pieces of paper to small circles then putting it together by tape. Design Challenge : 2

Design Challenge: 3 <embed src='http://vodcast.palmbeach.k12.fl.us/videoplayer.swf' width='340' height='280' allowfullscreen='true' wmode='transparent' flashvars='key=HYP4B7EB8F586AF2&set=2H78S' /> Me and Lindsey had our second design challenge. This was to make a structure that can hold a 25 pound weight, plus textbooks. The structure consists of 1 manila folder and 12 inches of tape. Lindsey and I made the folder into a cylinder and taped it together.
