Definitions Technology-the practical use of human abilities and to satisfy human needs and wants System- an organized way of achieving goal Troubleshooting- a problem solving method used to identify a malfunction in a system Communications technology- the process used to exchange information Blog- a website that consists of regular posts that readers can respond to through comments. Short for weblog.

Systems In technology the system we used for learning each others names was helpful because you learned almost the whole class. The first time though, we used the system, we only learned about half the class. So after we cut the class in half and learned everyone’s name. This system worked very well and now the class knows each other.

After the Earthquake

How Can We Help? Our school is having a special “2 for T” to help raise money for the victims of the massive earthquake in Haiti. The money from this weeks “2 for T” will be going to Doctors Without Borders. We can also donate money to help the people there.

Martin Luther King’s dream was that everyone would have equal rights. Even if your of different skin color. But for me, I do not have dream. I believe that right now I should just live my life whichever direction it takes me. Maybe when I am 17 or 18 I’ll find something I want to do my whole life but for right now I have no plans. I do know, however, that I would like to go to University of Florida for college. But for everything else, I’ll figure it out later on. My Dream

Our group had many problems completing the video we were assigned to make. At first our computer was not very good. Therefore, it was hard to work. Second, our camera for some reason would not record a video. Then when it finally did, we did not even know and it was a waste of film. After we asked Mr. Goldstein for help he gave us a tape to record our video on. We got some pretty footage but then we could not upload it to iMovie. By that time the period was basically over. Overall, we were not able to even start recording our video. Hopefully our next try will work out better. Video
