Input- KEY TERMS Input-what is put into a system. Process-is the action part of a system. Output-is the result of a system’s process. Feedback-tells whether or not the system is on track. Communication Technology-the process used to exchange information.

KEY TERMS Engineering-designing products or structures so that they are sound and deciding how they should be made and what materials should be used. Prototype-a working model.

NAME GAME NAME GAME The system was that you would walk around the classroom finding people to interview. The person you were interviewing would ask you three questions about yourself and then you would do the same back to them. The benefits are that you get to meet more people, make new friends, and you get to know them better. The problem with the original system was that some people didn’t get to meet everyone. We made sure that everyone interviewed and met each other.

Marshmallow Challenge The challenge was that your group of 2-3 people have to see which one of our groups would be able to make the tallest freestanding tower, using only 20 spaghetti sticks, a yard of tape, a foot of string, and a marshmallow at the top. The time limit was 20 minutes. The goal was to have a tower that was freestanding. My idea process was to make a log cabin form structure but it did not work. We found out that its better to put the marshmallow at the top when you are building rather then at the end.
