Hi, I’m Michael. I am in 7 th Grade. I go to Omni Middle School and I enjoy this school. I have many hobbies. I enjoy reading, sports, and hanging out with all of my friends. My favorite sport is soccer, and I play in a local league called SABR. I enjoy the league because many of my friends are in it. As for reading, I enjoy all types of books. Mysteries, Thrillers, Biographies, you name it. Whenever I hang out with any of my friends, we usually play video games, watch movies, or play sports. I hope you enjoyed learning some of this information, and now I must conclude my informatory writing. About Michael Ce.

Hi I’m Michael. I’m in 7 th grade, my best – and least favorite – class is math, I enjoy various video games, such as Infamous, Call of Duty, Assassins Creed, and Halo. I enjoy books but not biographies. I enjoy Technology Class and all the activities that we do. I enjoy How I Met Your Mother and other comedies like Scrubs. Goodbye, this is the end of my story. Key Terms in Technology Technology- the practical use of human knowledge to extend human abilities and to satisfy human needs and wants. System- an organized way of achieving a goal.

Slide 5:

More Key Terms Input, process, output, and feedback- the parts of a system. Input- what you put into a system. Process- the action part of a system. Output- the result of a system’s process. Feedback- tells whether or not the system is on track. Communication Technology- the processes used to exchange information.

Slide 6:

Even More Key Terms… Engineering- designing products or structures so that they are sound and deciding how they should be made and what materials should be used. Prototype- a working model.

The Name Game :

The Name Game The Name Game was a fun activity. It was a system where we would talk to someone and write down three things about them in our journal. It was a good system because we got to meet new people in our class and learn a few things about them. However, there was a flaw in the original system. We did not get to meet everyone because students on one side of the table rotated to other tables and did not get to meet each other. We modified this system by sending the rotating and the stationary people to separate sides of the room where they meet each other. This was a great system and we all enjoyed it.
