Conducting Study Subjects used in study 251 Undergraduate students in criminal justice courses. Located at a public Midwestern University. 19% between the ages 18-24 12% were criminal justice majors Results of Study : Results of Study Paired-samples t-test used to evaluate student’s perception of technology in improving learning. Students thought their ability to learn was increased in courses with modern teaching methods Limitations of Study : Limitations of Study Study only focused on student perceptions. Study only used one campus and one course. Implications of Study/Next Steps : Implications of Study/Next Steps Re-evaluate teacher integration of technology in courses. Modify course syllabi: Make students aware of rationale for using technology in courses. Expand research to other campuses and use other courses. Research teacher perception of student use of technology. Critique of Article : Critique of Article Research question Review of Literature Application to personal research Use of theories in study Conclusion : Conclusion The study provided useful information about students’ perceptions of technology use and hot it impacts their learning. The study was limited in that it data was only gathered from one college campus and one academic major area.
