Presentation Description

We at Children's Learning Center Montessori take early childhood education very seriously. It has been proven that the first seven years constitute the formative period when an individual’s patterns for subsequent learning and behavior are established. We understand that a child in his early years has remarkable capacity for learning therefore we provide the child with an environment conducive to exploring and learning.

Education Practical Life is children :

Education Practical Life is children The practical life exercises are the beginning activities for two to four year old children. These exercises improve motor control, eye hand coordination and concentration. The practical life exercises include environment care, pouring, polishing, washing, and serving. Children love these Practical Life Exercises and are also taught good work habits by being encouraged to complete the whole task, see that all materials needed are arranged in order, and make sure the entire exercise is available for use by the next child. Teaching the children to be thoughtful of the rights of other children, they are prepared for a successful citizenship. www.montessoriclc.net

Information for Prospective Parents :

Information for Prospective Parents Selecting the right early childhood education for your child is one of the most crucial decisions you will have to make. Since there is no longer a debate on the importance of early childhood education and its significance to a successful life later on, you are faced with the serious task of deciding where to enroll your child. Should you select the school with the most beautiful building or should you be looking for the best playground or is this a more serious matter of looking at the school with the best curriculum In selecting us for early childhood education, please understand that CLC is neither a babysitting service nor a play school where children are passing time until they get to the kindergarten class. We offer a unique cycle of learning designed to pass important skills to our student during their most crucial and productive years of relearning. Children graduating from our school have done extremely well in the California standardized tests and many have been selected for gifted children’s programs. www.montessoriclc.net

PowerPoint Presentation:

Used by children of all ages, sensorial materials help the child in developing his five senses and his mathematical mind. Some of the sensorial equipment includes Geometric Cabinet, Geometric solids, Rough and Smooth Boards, Box of Fabric, Sound Boxes, Thermal Bottles, Constructive triangles, Binomial cube and Trinomial Cube. These materials help give a solid base of facts to build a more accurate use of language and a keener mind for mathematics and the sciences. A child makes his first orientation of the world around him through his senses which help him absorb impressions of his surroundings. In the first two years of life, the child is guided by some inner sensitivity to acquire certain knowledge, and then the conscious mind takes over this process. At this time it is critical to guide him as he continues to absorb information at a phenomenal rate. www.montessoriclc.net
