Plural forms – ‘s’ or ‘es’

For most nouns, we can just add ‘s’… chair s cake s apple s year s frog s To form the plural of a noun, we usually add an “s”: pen  pens door  doors day  days A good book  some good books. Some nouns are always plural in English: Scissors, glasses, tights, jeans, trousers, shorts, pyjamas . You can use “some” or the expression “ a pair of” with these. For example, I need some scissors or I need a pair of scissors. ADD 'S'
